Fountain Head is a large property located in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside. It is within walking distance to local amenities and has excellent transport links. Fountain Head is able to offer a caring service to people with high support needs, including mild, moderate and acute learning disabilities and mental health disorders. 

Fountain Head consists of a two story six bed house with four ground floor self contained flats at the back for individuals who require a greater level of independence. In the shared house, there are six bedrooms, three with ensuites and two shared bathrooms. There is also a kitchen and a communal living area. In the self-contained flats, there is private space and an ensuite bathroom in each flat. Outside the property there is a small garden. 

There is a lift in the shared house and the self-contained flats are on the ground floor so the property is accessible and suitable for people with mobility issues. 

Residents are cared for using a person-centred approach because we work closely with individuals and loved ones to provide each resident with a personalised care plan. This plan contains information about their current abilities and any goals they are working towards to encourage independence.

The Service is located in Seaton Sluice near Whitley Bay. It is close to local amenities such as the beach, local shops and cafes. 

There are excellent public transport links to the nearby cities of Sunderland, Durham and Newcastle.
