Park House is a six bed terraced house situated in the heart of Gateshead. The home provides supported for male and female adults with mental health disorders and learning disabilities, including challenging behaviours. Park House is able to offer a caring service to people with high support needs, including tailored support packages to assist with activities of daily living and social inclusion.

The accommodation at Park House consists of seven single bedrooms, two rooms with ensuite bathrooms and five rooms with access to shared bathroom and toilet facilities. There is a warm and welcoming lounge/dining area, a large sitting room, a communal kitchen and separate laundry facilities. There is a large garden to the front with a seating area. To the rear there is a yard with furniture, a barbeque area and potted plants.

Due to the layout of the property, there are no accessible rooms at Park House for people with mobility issues.

Residents are encouraged to make suggestions to the Home Manager to recommend any changes they would like to see in the home. They are also encouraged to become involved in activities within the home such as food preparation, cooking and laundry.

Residents are cared for using a person centred approach, and their wellbeing and interests are at the forefront of our philosophy of care. We personalise our services specifically to service user needs, working closely with the individual, their family, carers and professionals to ensure that the individual’s needs are met. 

Residents at Park House are supported by a committed staff team. The home has a Registered Manager, Team Leader and Support Workers. All staff are adequately trained and fully qualified to fulfil their role within the home.

Park House is in central Gateshead and is situated close to local shops, churches, GP surgeries, and leisure facilities and the historic Saltwell Park.

Gateshead Metro Interchange is in walking distance where regular transport is available to nearby cities, towns, shopping centres and stunning coastline.
