Aspire operate Supported Living Services to provide a modern, progressive service for adults living in their own home, which may or may not be shared. This enables individuals to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own surroundings.

It is our aim to help service users achieve the best possible quality of life, whilst ensuring that their dignity and privacy is respected. This is done by supporting and encouraging our service users to exercise choice in all aspects of their daily lives. Additionally, we ensure their package of care is personalised to suit their own needs and aspirations in order to maintain their independence.  This might include, for example;

• visiting, belonging, sharing and using the facilities available in the ordinary places that define local community life.
• developing autonomy and self-determination in day-to-day matters as well as in the major decisions that people make, such as where to live and with whom.
• gaining more skills and abilities to perform functional and meaningful activities with whatever assistance is required.
• building a network of personal relationships, and making a valued contribution to these relationships.

Our services are provided in a sensitive and caring manner, in accordance with the needs, choices and aspirations of each person, and in an environment free from abusive situations.

We have 6 supported living services based in Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham, Northumberland and North Tyneside. 

All our services are located close to local amenities and shops. There are good transport links to nearby cities, towns, shopping centres and the coast.
